Durga Puja
Durga Puja is one the most famous festival celebrated in India, in honor of Goddess Durga during the period of Navratri or Shardiya Navaratri. Durga Puja is also known as Durgotsava or Sharadotsav is an annual Hindu festival in India that celebrates worship of the Hindu goddess Durga. Durga Puja is celebrated for 10 days, however starting from the sixth day till the ninth day (Shasthi, Maha Saptami, Maha Ashtami and Maha Navami), the pandals with decoration and idols of goddess Durga are open for visitors.
